The Barnie Team assures that stations are not going to be locked by Thargoid sensors. We do this by dropping a huge amount of metal alloys, these need to be farmed on a barnicle site. This means that the Carriers are te ships which can haul the most cargo,, the smaller cargo ships will be the feeders, the command the smaller ships which farm the barnicles and once filled up call in the mother carrier to take  over thecargo , the mothe carrier will be always escorted by fighter pilots.
